Marseille’s Harmonic Generator release their inaugural album ‘When The Sun Goes Down’ through Australian label Lungata Records world wide 10th July 2013 partnered with Dooweet Records distributing in France, Belgium and Switzerland.
Coinciding with this launch the band offer their second video single ‘Rising Star’ for your perusal, the opening song of the album.
Stylistically a rock hybrid of songs crossing sub-genres old school rock to new metal, the album follows the growth in the bands formative years and their humble beginning in France through their hard working evolution in Australia, the UK and enviable lessons learnt working with producers Mark Opitz and Colin Wynne. The album was recorded in fifteen days from jet lagged to finish.
Choosing the hard path, these lads from France write and deliver their songs in English, not exactly easy. And this shows somewhat, yet the sensational musicianship and vocals carry the album above the pack. The band decided to lay down these songs with their firebrand guitar driven rock as a message from their past and pointing toward the future.
