Over four decades Buffalo has laid dormant while the bands' albums, released in the 70's, continually rumble to a cult following world wide. Every generation of Heavy Rock and Metal fan know the Buffalo legacy but have been starved of opportunity to feast.

Original Buffalo co-founder Dave Tice has brought together an all star line up of players to revisit classic songs from the Buffalo catalogue featuring drums by Paul Wheeler(Ice House/Choir Boys/Kevin Borich), thunder god of bass, Harry Brus(Australian Crawl/Renee Gayer/Borich X Borich) and indie metal man Peter Ross(Age Of Menace) wielding the guitar. And make no mistake, this line-up is in full metal jacket, and will rise on the stage to unleash Buffalo songs as the originators intended. In uncompromising, heavy psych rock!

The original incarnation of the band delivered this heavy psych after forming in Sydney, Australia in 1971 - 1976. During this period, the band left a legacy with Australia's heavy metal, pub rock and alternative rock movements, which reached through oceans and expanded via the underground across Europe and UK and continues to do so. They are to this day considered Australia's forerunners of doom metal and stoner rock. The original 70's members included the late Pete Wells R.I.P, Dave Tice, John Baxter, Alan Milano and Paul Balbi.

Buffalo recorded five albums but one of the greatest records and essentially the first stoner rock album ever issued in Australia 'Volcanic Rock' established the band’s reputation and begun a decades long underground fan-base. It was this LP (Vinyl) that featured the classic line-up of: vocalist Dave Tice(The Count Bishops/The Headhunters), guitarist John Baxter, bass player Pete Wells (who later switched to slide guitar in another legendary Aussie band: Rose Tattoo), and drummer Jimmy Economou.

Buffalo’s third album 'Only Want You For Your Body,' ... the same classic line–up, was released in 1974. The album sits comfortably next to Volcanic Rock, as one of the most outrageously heavy and ground-breaking stoner rock albums ever released in Australia.
