Kevin Borich Double Album ‘Totem’ – June 2nd 2015 on iTunes and Spotify
With a professional Musical Career spanning 45 years that includes
founding New Zealand’s hit band La De Da’s and Australia’s The Party
Boys along with his many independent releases, this 66 year old
quintessential stalwart of rock and blues launches his inaugural iTunes
album ‘Totem’ June 2nd 2015 bringing around the question "Is this the
last man standing?" from the vinyl generation to go electronic after
long time hold outs AC/DC succumbed some time ago? Up until this date Kevin Borich's online store has been the only place to officially buy the mans music.
Disc 1 of Totem delivers fourteen tracks ranging from acoustic slow blues into lustful funk and boogie then belting sublime rock. The album, an all original work, finishes with a modern re-incarnation of his hit ‘Gonna See My Baby Tonight’. Strong Hold is the first video single form the album https://youtu.be/ Lpo9sOrd-SI
Thought provoking human condition lyrics prevails in these works. And though political slants slash at current issues, his hard hitting, grooving blues-rock seldom breaks its trend of feel good, tongue-in-cheek fun.
Totem was written over the nine year period he fought and defeated cancer. The songs delivers thought provoking lyrics basted with human condition that prevails through thick and thin. And though political slants slash at current issues, the hard grooving blues-rock seldom breaks its trend of feel good, tongue-in-cheek fun.
Disc 2 is a bonus disc of shear musical extravagance as only a musician of this caliber can deliver. “The Love Train”, a Stratocaster Train, emotionally charged with cry baby instrumental chat, searching & reaching for it.... and that.
Motif - [I Cried For You] – is very unique, never done before work that rolls to a throbbing blues feel. Clean wails & doom fuzz exploit emotional meanings revealed in mosaic. The last track is a sound scape solo guitar journey of information with salute.
We invite reviews of these works and spread of the news. Kevin Borich Facebook or Tweet @kevinborich
The 3rd track Strong Hold is a testament to Borich’s life his dedicated to delivering powerful music, his love of family and his survival of cancer. The closest folk, that stand by you, with you and never give up on you. They build your Strong Hold, from creation to the other-side. Of which we are all somewhere in-between. Kevin proudly presents the video single form Totem! 'Strong Hold'
Borich’s parting question to you on the liner notes of the album “ Think Something Of It” So What will you think?

Original Buffalo co-founder Dave Tice has brought together an all star line up of players to revisit classic songs from the Buffalo catalogue featuring drums by Paul Wheeler(Ice House/Choir Boys/Kevin Borich), thunder god of bass, Harry Brus(Australian Crawl/Renee Gayer/Borich X Borich) and indie metal man Peter Ross (Age Of Menace) wielding the guitar.
For FOUR decades BUFFALO have laid dormant. And to this day are considered Australia's forerunners of Doom Metal and Stoner Rock. With one of the bands originals and greats of Oz Rock, Pete Wells (Rose Tattoo), no longer with us, and an unrelenting underground following Dave Tice revisits the classic songs from the BUFFALO catalogue.
And make no mistake, this line-up is in full metal jacket, and will rise on the stage to unleash Buffalo songs in uncompromising, heavy psych rock!
BUFFALO was formed in Sydney, Australia in 1971 and recorded five albums with Vertigo ( Black Sabbath,Thin Lizzy, Metallica ) which have been reissued on Aztec Music. 'Volcanic Rock‘’ featuring the classic line-up of: Vocalist - Dave Tice, Guitarist - John Baxter, the Bass of Pete Wells R.I.P of ROSE TATTOO and Drummer Jimmy Economou. One of the greatest records and essentially the first stoner rock album ever issued in Australia.
BUFFALO’s third album 'Only Want You For Your Body,' ... with the same classic line–up, was released in 1974. The album sits comfortably next to ‘ Volcanic Rock’, as one of the most outrageously heavy and ground-breaking stoner rock albums ever released in Australia. All media inquiries

With English lyric based songs, the band embarked for Australia in 2010
in an effort to live in a country with an English speaking background and a big
rock’n’roll history to improve on their music and song writing skills. In their
12 months on Australian soil, the band where signed to a professional
management company and recorded “Dead On The Ground” EP in Sydney and toured
the east coast of the country at venues and events with fantastic results.
Upon return to France, and highly improved, the bands home turf
reputation grew with every show. Excited by these results, Harmonic Generator returned to Australia in 2012, via a
short tour in the UK, and recorded 10 tracks with world-renowned producer Mark
Opitz and fellow producer, Colin Wynne, in Melbourne.
Following the studio session,
a second tour of Australia ensued with audience numbers swelling in Australia
prior to the bands return to Marseille to release two video singles, ‘Nobody
Dies’ and ‘Rising Star’ followed by the release of their debut album ‘When The Sun Goes
Down’ through Dooweet Records in France and Lungata Records world wide circa
2013.
Other highlights after the release are some big concert in the south of
France followed by a big event in Corsica, and the announcement of their next
tour with UK rock outfits Raven and Girlschool to the UK, Nederland’s, Italy,
Germany and France from November ’13.

"A great clip. Buffalo were a very popular heavy rock band in the 70s and I saw them do Shylock at Caringbah rock show back then, supported by Black Knight. Great to see Buffalo Revisited at Evil Invaders IV in 2013. I also love Dave Tice's new blues and roots music. Good that the Buffalo albums were remastered and re-released by Aztec Records on cd."
